  9. The files in this archive contain the new Windows 3.1 Crystal Font driver
  10. and the GSTUNE Crystal Tune utility. Read ALL the readme files to be sure
  11. to properly install the Crystal Font driver.

  14. Easy Installation
  15. -----------------
  16.  
  17. 1) Prepare a blank floppy diskette. This can be a 360K disk or better.
  18.  
  19. 2) Run the INSTALL.BAT batch file specifying the drive to which to extract
  20.    the drivers and the path to your Windows directory.
  21.  
  22.    Examples:
  23.  
  24.    a) Extract drivers to A: drive and use C:\WINDOWS as Windows directory:
  25.  
  26.        INSTALL A: C:\WINDOWS
  27.  
  28.    b) Extract drivers to B: drive and use C:\WIN31 as Windows directory:
  29.  
  30.        INSTALL B: C:\WIN31
  31.  
  32.    IMPORTANT: The Crystal Font driver must be extracted to a floppy disk!
  33.  
  34. 3) Read README.TXT that is located on the floppy disk.
  35.    Read GSTUNE.TXT which is located in your Windows directory.

  42. Manual Installation
  43. -------------------

  45. The following instructions are for use only if you have difficulty using
  46. the easy installation.
  47.  
  48. 1) Run XTAL31.EXE with the following syntax:
  49.  
  50.    For A: drive:   XTAL31 /EA:
  51.    For B: drive:   XTAL31 /EB:
  52.  
  53.    IMPORTANT: You must extract this file to a floppy for the Crystal Font
  54.               driver to correctly install into Windows.
  55.  
  56. 2) Run GSTUNE31.EXE with the following syntax:
  57.  
  58.    GSTUNE31 /EC:\WINDOWS
  59.  
  60.    NOTE: If your Windows directory is not C:\WINDOWS, then specify
  61.          that path you are using (ie. C:\WIN).
  62.  
  63. 3) See step 3 in Easy Installation.
